I Tried Yoga (Day 1)

Welp, I’ve been asking people about their yoga routines for long enough before I finally decided to JUST DO THE DAMN THING!!!

And… it went (very surprisingly)…well? ๐Ÿ˜ง

I was not expecting to enjoy it.

BUT! Nobody told me it was like…ACTUAL EXERCISE??!!??!?!

I didn’t even have a mat; I used a blanket (hey, first-timer here). So I did not even step off of this blanket and by approximately 11 minutes into the video, I was winded.

Embarassingly so (again, beginner).

Keep in mind that this is coming from an almost thirty-year old, mildly out of shape (but still KILLIN’ IT ๐Ÿ˜œ), chick who definitely does not normally enjoy exercise.

Also, I’m not very flexible. I feel old af, especially when getting up or sitting down ๐Ÿคฃ

But this video especially, they explained exactly how to move your hands, body, legs, feet… They walk you through it step-by-step.

This is a game changer for me because when instructors say to do all of these poses or different things like I’m already familiar with it, it overwhelms the heck out of me and I end up quitting.

So, now I follow Arianna Elizabeth’s channel on YouTube (this link leads to the About page, because I wanted you to see that first ๐Ÿคฉ).

Rating: 5 out of 5.

5/5 stars to this video & channel for getting a beginner started ๐Ÿ™‚

Aaaannnd… I’m pretty dang inspired to do another “flow” (that’s what they call it ๐Ÿ˜) to start my day!

Look out, World!

I’m so bad at exercising, but this didn’t even feel like it until I was out. of. breath. ๐Ÿ˜…

Will continue to monitor…

Hi, Hello :)

Hey, Friends-

I’m still here. I’m making myself sit down and get out my thoughts for a moment. I have so many ideas for the blog, that I don’t even know where to start. I confuse myself because I want this site to be about wellness and self-care, but then I have soooo many other passions that I want to share with you all as well.

The tutorials and tips says to FOCUS on a small group of topics for your blog… basically narrow it down.

It really discouraged me for a second because I look at my sketchbook (oh yeah, honey. I have several of them. I use them as journals so I can also paint in them and draw as I like ๐Ÿ˜œ), and I see all of these awesome ideas that I’m super excited to get started on, and I don’t want to narrow that down.

People like a professional, not a Jack of all trades…

-some WP Course I can no longer find to link ๐Ÿ™„

Ouch. SIKE!

I’m no Jack of all trades, bby. I work hard on my ~crafts~ (“passions,” rather)…All of them ๐Ÿ™‚

No one is perfect. I do this for fun and if someone loved my content enough to donate or buy it or support me in some way? That’s a huge blessing.

Okay, you still with me?

So, I was a little bummed for a bit, really not knowing how to narrow what I WANT to do down much at all…

Unless I made different websites.

…and why should I?

Why the heck should I make several different websites to share my passions and the things I like to create???

i think not

BUT!!! (but wait, there’s more… ๐Ÿ˜‰)

I am thinking about splitting things into categories, and perhaps those categories being its own page (with the same design, but with ITS own subcategories)— but we’ll see. The idea is fresh.

However, in the meantime, I keep coming up blank with the posts because of the identity crisis ๐Ÿ˜ญ, so for that, I am sorry.

But stick around… there will be lots of additions and changes coming. Here are a few things I definitely love to create and want to share:

  • Desktop & Mobile wallpapers (oh, you didn’t think I was goin’ that hard, did you?)
  • Headers/banners for social media
  • Photo Manipulations
  • Tutorials

…and some other pretty cool content I think at least someone might enjoy ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you guys for your love & support! It doesn’t go unnoticed.

love you :)
